These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WaveLen website (wavelen.app), operated by WaveLen LLC ("WaveLen," "we," "us"). These Terms cover the website only — see our mobile app Terms of Service for the Android app. Your WaveLen account and its content are shared across both. By creating an account or using the WaveLen website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old to use WaveLen. By signing up, you confirm that the date of birth you provide is accurate and that you meet this requirement.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You retain ownership of the posts, comments, photos, videos, voice notes, and messages you submit to WaveLen ("Content"). By posting Content, you grant WaveLen a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that Content solely to operate and provide WaveLen to you and the users you share it with. This license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for copies retained in message threads visible to other participants, or as required by law.
You're solely responsible for the Content you post and for having the rights to post it.
You agree not to use WaveLen to:
We use a combination of automated scanning (including Google Cloud Vision's SafeSearch on uploaded media, and Google Cloud Natural Language and Microsoft Azure AI Content Safety on the text of messages, comments, and posts) and user reports to detect content that violates these Terms. We may remove Content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice where we believe it's necessary to protect users or WaveLen.
When we hide or remove your Content, we'll tell you why under Settings → Account status. If you think we got it wrong about Content that was hidden, you can appeal there and a person will review it. We may not give notice where doing so could put someone at risk, such as for child-safety concerns.
You can report content or accounts that violate these Terms from within the website.
The WaveLen name, logo, and website (excluding user Content) are owned by WaveLen LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.
WaveLen relies on third-party infrastructure, including Google Firebase, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, to operate. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by these providers, though we'll work to restore service as quickly as possible.
WaveLen is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that WaveLen will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WaveLen LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of WaveLen.
You may stop using WaveLen at any time and delete your account permanently. Sign in and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the WaveLen website after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
